📋 Overview
MyEcoReporter is an AI-powered tool for disaster response and environmental hazard monitoring. It helps communities report environmental incidents and helps researchers analyze exposure data in real-time. Built in collaboration with Texas A&M University's Superfund Research Center, the project bridges the gap between affected communities and the researchers trying to help them.
💡 Context
Environmental disasters — chemical spills, industrial accidents, flooding — require rapid information gathering. Affected communities often lack tools to report what they're experiencing, and researchers struggle to get ground-truth data quickly. MyEcoReporter was designed to solve both problems: give communities an easy way to report hazards and give researchers structured, analyzable data in real-time.
